Pavlina Kourkova is a Czech painter, illustrator, and landscape architect. She studied natural sciences and garden and landscape architecture, which has given her knowledge of plant anatomy and physiology, as well as the aesthetic qualities and living conditions of different plant cultivars. As a landscape architect, she was involved in a number of projects during her study placement in Holland and subsequent work experience in England. Ever since childhood she loves walking in nature which serves her as constant inspiration.
