I am an author of children’s books and an illustrator. My artist husband and I live in a little house on the edge of the forest in South Bohemia. We have a parrot called Oscar and several cats. Deer and hares graze in our garden, which is also visited by foxes, jays and spotted woodpeckers. As mother to four children and grandmother to two grandkids, I get plenty of inspiration. I have always loved writing and drawing. I first wrote and illustrated stories of my own as a little girl, giving them to my friends to read.
