Mária Nerádová

Mária Nerádová is an illustrator, author and graphic designer based in Bratislava, Slovakia.

She grew up in a very non-artistic family, but she was successful in becoming a black sheep of the family when, after years of drawing and doodling as a child, she decided to pursue a creative career.

She studied graphic design as well as illustration and printmaking. During her studies, she was able to spend some time in the USA and France.

She likes to vary in between her two main illustration styles and her client list now includes Usborne, Ladybird Penguin, Glottogon, Milan Editions, Mondadori, Porto Editora, iSeek Creatives, B4U Publishing, Albatros, Buvik, SME.
